A bakhoor guide: perfuming your home the right way

Start with a small piece of bakhoor on well-ventilated charcoal or an electric burner. As a rule, one small piece scents a medium room for up to thirty minutes.

To scent clothes, hold the burner below the garment for only a few seconds while moving it, and avoid delicate fabrics and close contact with the smoke.

Open a window briefly afterwards, and keep bakhoor in a sealed box away from heat.
